Sage Valley Nature School

Mission

Nurturing healthy childhood connections in nature that will have a lifetime of positive impact.

Philosophy

We believe repeated exploration in nature throughout childhood and into adulthood has long term positive impact on cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual well being. Our rich curriculum is a unique blend of child-led play and structured hands-on learning in a bio-dynamic outdoor ecosystem. This provides immersive opportunities for supported risk-taking appropriate to the child and environment. Through this experience, children and young adults can build independence, confidence, a connection to nature, social skills, and a sense of community.

Staff

Kinsey is a Certified Nature Based Educator through the Eastern Region Association of Forest and Nature Schools and also has experience in early childhood education settings like nurseries and preschools.
